La espalda me está dando problemas otra vez estos días, y voy cosiendo a ratos lo que puedo. Terminé el 3º bloque del Friendship Sorbet. Estoy deseando terminarlo y colgarlo de mi sala de costura.
The back is giving me problems again these days, and I am sewing by snatches what I can. I finished 3 º block of the Friendship Sorbet. I want to finish it and to hang it on my sewing room.


Hace algunos días que terminé el 4º mini bloque del bloque 2 del I Remember Quilt. Espero montarlo entre esta semana y la que viene, con tantos cuadrados como lleva tendré que hacerlo por etapas para que la espalda me deje vivir.

I Remember y compras varias

I Remember Quilt: terminado el bloque 1, ya empezamos el segundo. He terminado dos mini bloques, el de cerezas:

Primer bloque terminado

Terminé el primer bloque del quilt I Remember, de Rosalie Quinlan. Me costó mucho y al final no he conseguido que me cuadre todo a la perfección, pero estoy muy contenta con el resultado. Espero coger pronto la experiencia que necesito para hacer los trabajos bien del todo, mientras tanto, me conformo con intentarlo.
I finished the first block of the I Remember quilt, by Rosalie Quinlan. It cost me very much and ultimately I have not achieved that it squares everything to the perfection, but I am very satisfied with the result. I expect to take soon the experience that I need to make the works completely well, meanwhile, agree to try it.

Pepi también terminó el suyo, pero la diferencia es que a ella le quedó perfecto. Supongo que lo pondrá pronto en su blog, así que pasaros a disfrutar.

Primer bloque I Remember

Este fin de semana lo he dedicado a intentar unir los 3 minibloques que forman el bloque 1 del I Remember quilt, de Rosalie Quinlan. Es precioso, pero lleva mucho tiempo y esfuerzo, espero que merezca la pena por que me tiene enamorada. He terminado por completo el minibloque A:
This weekend I have dedicated to trying to join all 3 miniblocks that form the block 1 of the I Remember quilt, by Rosalie Quinlan. It is beautiful, but it goes a lot of time and effort, I hope that it is worth it because I am in love with the design. I have finished completely the miniblock A:

Seguiré a ratos esta semana para intentar completarlo. He enviado el segundo objetivo del SAL, a trabajar.

I Remember, SAL Tilda y Blackbird

Ainssssss qué frio! 3 días lloviendo y granizando...un tiempo perfecto para coser. Este finde lo he dedicado al tercer minibloque del I Remember. Me da mucha rabia que la foto no muestre el colorido que lleva, es muy alegre y, hasta ahora, el que más trabajo me dió y el que más me gusta. Ahora toca unir los 3 que llevo hechos para formar el primer bloque. Los botones están sin coser, mi profesora Neus me ha enseñado que se hace en último lugar, para que luego al pegar el top a la guata quede bien estirado.

Y esta mañana he podido ponerme con los dos objetivos del SAL Tilda que ha organizado Vero. No tenía las telas y el sábado he comprado algunos fieltros y he utilizado dos de las telas que he comprado la semana pasada en Ikea. Es una cucada de diseño...estoy muy orgullosa de mis gorros jajajajajajaja.

Y por último, lo que el cartero me ha dejado hoy en el buzón: la última entrega de este año del Loose Feathers 2008 de Blackbird Designs. Lleva unos hilos de seda que no compré, me los cambiaron por los de algodón, 6 dólares el hilo.....me parece algo excesivo si no los utilicé nunca y hay muchas posibilidades de que me los cargue.

Esta semana intentaré adelantar algo en los bolsos de Born to quilt y en los bordes de cuadrados del Bunny Patch, ya os lo enseñaré.
