Hoy hace sol...

Hola a todas! Qué tal fue el fin de semana? Nosotros muy tranquilos, disfrutando de los rayos de sol y aprovechando para coser un poco. Os enseño mis avances en el primer bloque del A Vintage Christmas Quilt, de Bunny Hill Designs. Me falta poco para terminarlo, coser las hojas que tiene el bies y ponerle dos tiras de tela que lleva en la parte inferior y en un lateral.
Hi to all! What such was the weekend? We very calm, enjoying the beams of the sun and being useful to sew a bit. I show you my advances in the first block of A Vintage Christmas Quilt, of Bunny Hill Designs. It lacks to me little to finish it, to sew the leaves that has the bies and put two strips of fabric that goes in the lowest part and in the right.

Llevo mucho tiempo esperando por el quilt apropiado para estas telas, es la colección más bonita y romántica que vi en el año y medio que llevo en patchwork.
I go a lot of time expecting for the quilt adapted for these fabrics, it is the nicest and romantic collection that I saw in the year and a half that I take in patchwork.


Un día de lluvia de la semana pasada decidí descansar un poco de la costura y repasé algunos de los libros que me compré en los últimos meses.... y allí estaba! En el libro When the cold wind blows, de las chicas de Blackbird Designs, mi otra debilidad... aparece este precioso quilt llamado Love Letters y realizado por Alma Allen (siempre me gusta la versión que Alma nos enseña en sus libros) y enseguida se encendió mi bombilla, es el quilt que estaba esperando para utilizar las telas Rendezvous. A la vuelta de mis vacaciones en septiembre me pondré con él e intentaré aprovechar el curso de aplicación a máquina que me dió Eva Gustems para ponerlo en práctica....
A rainy day of last week I decided to rest a bit from the seam and revised some of the books that I bought in the last months .... and there it was! In the book When the cold wind blows, of the girls of Blackbird Designs, my another weakness ... there appears this beautiful quilt called Love Letters and realized by Alma Allen (always I like the version that Alma shows us in their books) and immediately my bulb was ignited, it is the quilt that was expecting to use the Rendezvous fabrics. To the return of my vacations in September I will put with it and will try to take advantage of the application machine class that gave me Eva Gustems the last June....

Pero mientras no termino un quilt para nuestra cama, nos compramos una funda nueva para el nórdico con flores azules y cojines blancos bordados, preciosos!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But while I don't finish a quilt for our bed, we bought a new case for the Nordic with blue flowers and white embroidered cushions, beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!
