Dear Jane y Friendship Sorbet

No recuerdo la última vez que hice un bloque del Dear Jane Quilt... hoy me dije: no puede ser! así que me senté delante de mi Bernina y terminé dos bloques, el de esta semana y uno de los atrasados.
I don't remember the last time that I made a block of the Dear Jane Quilt ... today I said to myself: it can't be! So I sat down in front of my Bernina and finished two blocks, that of this week and one of the backward ones.


Y mis pequeños avances en el bloque 5 del Friendship Sorbet Quilt, ya sólo tengo que hacer el bordado.
And my small advances in the block 5 of the Friendship Sorbet Quilt, only I have to do the embroidery.

Friendship Sorbet y Breast of friends

Retomando mis proyectos de patchwork, terminé de montar el bloque 5 del Friendship Sorbet Quilt de Alexandra Londono. Lleva unas letras bordadas en el cuadrado central y unos corazones de aplicación en las esquinas, son mis tareas para mañana, ya que el sábado vamos a Vigo otra vez.
Recapturing my projects of patchwork, I finished the block 5 of the Friendship Sorbet Quilt by Alexandra Londono. It takes a few letters embroidered in the central square and a few hearts of application in the corners, they are my tasks for tomorrow, because on Saturday we go to Vigo again.

y con mucha paciencia bordo el bloque 1 del Breast of friends, estoy segura de que el resultado final será estupendo porque las telas son preciosas.
And with many patience I embroider the block 1 of the Breast of friends, am sure that the final result will be marvellous because the fabrics are beautiful.

Recibí una nueva entrega del Loose Feather 2009 de Blackbird Designs. La tela es preciosa, con cuadros... dudo que sea capaz de realizar esta proyecto que nos proponen...

Y también recibí un nuevo número de la revista australiana Country Threads. Aprovecharé que estoy con gripe para leerla tranquilamente, intentaré coser un poco porque tengo mis proyectos muy abandonados.

Secreto desvelado

Ya puedo desvelar el secreto. La semana pasada no puse nada en el blog porque estaba trabajando en el bolso Born to quilt para mi madre. Con una semana de adelanto recibió sus regalos por el día de la madre, uno de ellos el bolso hecho por mi.
Already I can reveal the secret. Last week I didn't put anything in the blog because I was working on Borns to quilt purse for my mother. With a week of advance she received her gifts of the mother's day, one of them the purse made by me.

El fin de semana lo pasamos en Vigo con mi familia y fue genial, muchas risas y complicidad.
We spent the weekend in Vigo with my family and was great! a lot of laughs and complicity.

Hace un siglo que no publico nada, pero es que llevo toda la semana trabajando en un proyecto sorpresa que he logrado terminar ayer a la noche. Esta tarde nos vamos a Vigo a visitar a mi familia, celebraremos el día de la madre con una semana de adelanto, tenemos que aprovechar que mi hermano está de visita estos días. El lunes podré enseñaros las fotos de lo que hice.....
One century ago that I do not publish anything, but I've been working on a secret project that I have finished the last night. Noche en el teatro

Acabamos de llegar del teatro y no podía acostarme sin recomendaros la obra "Un dios salvaje". Hacía muchos años que no me reía tanto, ni con una película. Si os gusta el teatro y os apetece reiros un buen rato no os la perdais.

Breast of Friends

Ayer os enseñé la foto del tercer bloque del Breast of friends, pero por la noche me dí cuenta que me había olvidado de bordar las letras, pero ahora sí, el bloque está terminado.
Yesterday I showed to you the photo of the third block of the Breast of friends, but at night I found that had forgotten to embroider the letters, but now yes, the block is finished.

También cosí el primer bloque, ahora tengo que hacer el aplicado y el bordado, que es mucho! El día será largo...
Also I sewed the first block, now I have to do the appliqué and the embroidery, which is too much! The day will be long...

Tercer bloque terminado, me gusta muchísimo! Ahora me pondré con el primer bloque, tiene mucho bordado, por eso lo dejé para el final.

Libros y cosimientos varios

La espalda me está dando problemas otra vez estos días, y voy cosiendo a ratos lo que puedo. Terminé el 3º bloque del Friendship Sorbet. Estoy deseando terminarlo y colgarlo de mi sala de costura.
The back is giving me problems again these days, and I am sewing by snatches what I can. I finished 3 º block of the Friendship Sorbet. I want to finish it and to hang it on my sewing room.


Hace algunos días que terminé el 4º mini bloque del bloque 2 del I Remember Quilt. Espero montarlo entre esta semana y la que viene, con tantos cuadrados como lleva tendré que hacerlo por etapas para que la espalda me deje vivir.
Some days ago that I finished 4 º mini block of the block 2 of the I Remember Quilt. I expect to mount it between this week and the one that comes, with so many squares since it has I will have to do it for stages in order that the back leaves myself to live.

Strawberry Hill Quilt

Lo sé, otro quilt empezado sin terminar los anteriores... pero soy fácil de convencer jajajajajajaja. Georgina y Pepi me acompañan en este proyecto, es un quilt muy divertido y bonito, y como no de Bunny Hill Designs.
I know it, another quilt begun without finishing the previous ones ... but I am easy to convince jajajajajajaja. Georgina and Pepi accompany me in this project, it is a very funny and beautiful quilt, and it is of Bunny Hill Designs.

Georgina ya nos enseñó su bloque 1, y aquí está el mio. Lleva algunas de las telas del quilt original, pero son casi todas escogidas por mi.

Hace 3 horas que llegamos a casa y todavía me parece increíble lo que hemos vivido y compartido estos últimos días. Hemos conocido a una gente estupenda y nos hemos vuelto a reencontrar con personas que ya son amigos: Peter, Abel, Silvia y Belén. Gracias a los 4 por este fin de semana tan increíble!
3 hours ago that we come to house and still it seems to be to me incredible through what we have lived and shared the latter days.
